Chairlog vs the Notes app

If your income lives in a Notes list like “Ava 63, Leah 135 (10 tip)”, you’re already tracking. Chairlog turns the same habit into real numbers.

What does Chairlog do that Notes can’t?

Chairlog adds up every amount for you, keeps tips and product sales separate from services, groups days by month, charts your income and tracks revenue goals. Notes only stores the text you type.

Frequently asked questions

Why not just use the Notes app to track clients and tips?

Notes is fine for jotting a daily total, but it cannot add up amounts, separate tips from services, show monthly totals or charts, or track a goal. Chairlog does all of that from the same few seconds of typing.

Can I move my old Notes records into Chairlog?

There is no automatic import from Notes. You can add past days manually in Chairlog by swiping back on the Today screen or editing days in History.
